Oh dear! It was all a trick!
This was one of my favorite pages to draw. I loved making all the little spooky animals suddenly seem cute and goofy with their little tongues sticking out-kind of a like a "hey we tricked you silly kids."
I read this to my 5 month old daughter and these pages actually kept her attention. I was so happy.
